Andy Slankster, CFP®, CPFA
Financial Advisor
 
As a CFP® professional and an active member in the community, Andy is dedicated to helping businesses and individuals pursue their financial goals.  Andy specializes in the retirement plan market (401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, NQDC Plans) in addition to providing personal advice for the owners and their executives.  He has over 20 years of experience in the financial service industry.  He holds FINRA series 6, 7, and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and the Series 65 through Mariner Independent Advisor Network, LLC.  He also has his life & health licenses as well.  Andy graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Economics and Business Administration with a minor in Spanish. 
 
Andy and his wife, Michele, have been married since 2001.  Together they like to golf, vacation, and play with their 4 children.  He is involved with numerous charities and organizations such as the South Lyon Junior League, Catholic Central Alumni Association, National Kidney Foundation of Michigan and also active at their Church.
 
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP® in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification mark.
 
 
 
Don Slankster
LPL Registered Operations Manager
 
Don Joined Slankster Financial in 2021 after a 15-year career in Human Resources.  He holds his series 7 license with LPL Financial and his series 66 license with Mariner Independent Advisor Network, LLC. Don Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in English from Wayne State University, where he also played 4 years of football.  He went on to earn a master's degree in Organizational and Human Resources Development from Abilene Christian University. 
 
Don and his wife Margaret have been married since 2010 and spend time with their 3 children enjoying travel, sports, outdoors, and anything else they can have fun doing.
 
 
Loren Fisher
LPL Registered Sales Assistant
 
Loren graduated from Oakland University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Finance. He has 7 years of experience in the financial service industry and has been with Slankster Financial since 2017. He holds a series 7 license with LPL financial and also has his life license with the State of Michigan. He currently resides in Westland and enjoys exercising and playing guitar.
